Welcome to Silver Bluff Homeowners Association

The purpose of the Silver Bluff Homeowner’s Association, as registered with the State of Florida, remains to protect, preserve and enhance our safe and beautiful neighborhood with its landscaped homes and gardens, for contemporary residents and those of the future. All such neighborhoods in Miami, and the rest of Florida, should be enhanced and protected for the wellbeing of our citizens and our nation.

Caring Neighbors

Throughout the years, commercial enterprises have existed along the neighborhood’s borders including banks, grocery stores, restaurants, and apartments. Large commercial properties have been limited by Silver Bluff residents protesting and working with city and county officials to protect the residential character of the neighborhood.

The recently enacted Miami21 zoning code was successfully challenged and modified by the Silver Bluff Homeowner’s Association to control some of the onerous proposals of developers and planners who attempted to allow over-large construction along Coral Way, SW 27th, and SW 22nd Avenues that would have seriously and negatively affected residential properties within Silver Bluff.

Community Action

Neighbors and the officers of the Homeowners Association became educated about the workings of the City of Miami and Miami-Dade Governments and have participated in thousands of hours of meetings with government officials and others to effect positive results for the neighborhood and its residents. In so doing, deep and positive relationships have been developed with elected and hired officials and organizations including law enforcement,  fire and other government departments, as well as educational, religious, and commercial enterprises that play major roles in the life of our neighborhoods and our county and state.
